The Brief

The last in a long line of improvements, this period home cried out for a perfectly structured kitchen to complement the age and style of the rest of the house.

Our client wanted an extremely symmetrical and linear look in this narrow galley kitchen and had a very detailed list of requirements.

In order to complement the classic style of this lovely home, we created a design featuring AlnoSign in luscious Vanilla High Gloss Lacquer.

With an unequalled depth of finish, the reflected light between the units creates an illusion of spaciousness and luxury.

To achieve the linear look and draw the eye along the run, all the bar handles are placed horizontally.

The sink was sited beneath the window and the hob and extractor are placed directly opposite creating the desired symmetrical effect.

Even the hob bars are placed to mirror the linear look.

The wall units feature glass light shelf bases and these cast a swathe of light on the deep lustre of the Corian worktop as well as lighting the interior of the cupboard.

This kitchen features AlnoSign units in Vanilla High Gloss Lacquer and incorporates integrated Miele appliances and Vzug induction hob and steam oven.

The beautiful Corian worktop features integral sinks together with a Franke triflow tap and Quooker boiling water tap.

With the benefit of being able to carry out the gas and electrical work ourselves, Kitchenology's experienced installers were able to carry out this transformation quickly and efficiently. The works we completed included:

• Install a new consumer unit Remove the ceiling and replace it with smooth board, incorporating chrome downlights
• Supply and install chrome sockets and switches
• Install a new lighting circuit, new ring main and 20amp supply
• Move hot and cold pipework
• Supply and lay plywood floor
• Duct out extractor through ceiling void
• Install new circuit and outside light
• Supply and install outside tap Remove existing kitchen
• Install new kitchen and appliances
